Rashtriya Sarvangin Gramvikas Sanstha have received INDIAN INNOVATION AWARD for "By the students for the studemts" program was held in Delhi on 12july2010. Nandan Nilekani was the chief guest.

Among 1200 hundred entries 8 gold and 3 special recomended were awarded and we are 1 of special recommended. Comparatively we are very small organisation 3 of them were given to state government...

Events organized by SHREE PRATISHTHAN

1) Jor Spradha – Meant for the young generation, the event is organized normally in the month of January to imbibe

  • Importance of exercise
  • Health is wealth
  • Physical capacity building

Initially for ten years it was conducted in Pirangut. Since 1997, it is conducted in different villages. The competition is followed by a lecture on our historical heritage, especially the Chatrapati Shivaji era is the focus.

2) Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti (14 April) - The objective is to bridge the gap between communities & to project the correct image of the personality . To inculcate the moral values propagated by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar

We have started organizing these programs since 2004 and are normally conducted in different villages (Asde-Pirangut-Bhukum) The program consists of Lecture / Competition etc

3) Vijay Din – 16 Dec is a memorable day in the history of independent India. It marks India’s victory in the 12 day war against Pakistan and separating Bangladesh from the clutches of Pakistan.

90000 Pakistani soldiers surrendered themselves, to celebrate this golden event of our glorious history and to inculcate patriotism in new generation is the objective of celebrating this event.

We have been celebrating this event from 2003. In 2003 a rally was organized at Paud ,100 girls from Military Girls High School along with a band took part in it and 250 Junior College students from Paud High school took part in the rally.

We conducted a weekly training program preparation for the military entrance test. One student entered SRF and one girl was selected for the police service. The celebration is conducted in various villages.
